He swears he doesn’t do parties, bar mitzvahs, weddings.
But you’d be hard pressed to find him without a camera in his hand. He’s crazy about photography and is the first one to admit it. That’s Scott Audette for you.
He once had an assistant who swore he wanted to be a photographer but seemed kind of on the fence. Scott told him if he loved photography and it was the right career choice, he’d find himself shooting images when he got out of bed, before he went to sleep. He’d pull over on the side of the road to capture a gorgeous sunset. He’d take hundreds of photos to find the perfect light, the perfect angle. He’d read all he could about shutter speeds, apertures, reviews of new cameras and long-out-of-production cameras.
He’d bring his Hasselblad on his honeymoon.
He’d ask for what he called “toy cameras” for his birthday and the holidays.
He’d rediscover classic looks.
That’s what you do if you want to be a die-hard photographer.
